P654X - Bronx School of Arts & Exploration
District 75 & Our School
New York City Department of Education District 75 is a part of New York City Public Schools that supports students who learn in different ways and may need extra help to succeed. This includes students with autism and other developmental or learning needs. District 75 schools provide smaller class settings, individualized instruction, and services like speech, occupational therapy, and counseling to help each child grow and become more independent.
At P654X – Bronx School of Arts & Exploration, a K - 8 school, we build on this support by making learning engaging, creative, and meaningful. We use the arts—like music, visual art, movement, and storytelling—to help students communicate, express themselves, and connect to their learning.
Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and joyful school community where every child is valued. We work closely with families to help each student build skills, confidence, and independence so they can thrive both in school and beyond.
A Message from Our Principal
As the founding principal of P654X, I am deeply committed to creating a school where every student is seen, supported, and celebrated. I believe in building strong relationships with families and working together as partners in each child’s growth.
My experience in special education has shown me the importance of structured, individualized instruction alongside opportunities for creativity and self-expression. At P654X, we are bringing those two elements together to create a school where students feel confident, engaged, and proud of their progress.
I am excited to build this community with you and look forward to partnering with you every step of the way.
Warmly,
Jeffrey Bugajski
